Ruthy (Frank) Dunec - President & Program Director

Ruthy Dunec is a graduate of the York University Kinesiology Program and is a Level Two NCCP certified gymnastics and trampoline coach. Ruthy has taught gymnastics and acrobatics at both the competitive and recreational level for over 20 years. Teaching acrobatic dance and technique has always been Ruthy's passion.

Ruthy has worked with various dance studios and instructors by helping their dancers achieve the skills necessary for competition. One of Ruthy's most notable career accomplishments was working with the cast of Billy Elliot in 2010 and 2011 when they were in Toronto for a 1 year engagement. Ruthy taught 6 of the "billies" on a weekly basis along with other Billy Elliot cast members several acrobatic skills. On stage rehearsals and safety checks for the cast were also performed regularly to ensure their skills were stage ready.

Ruthy has also worked with individuals from So You Think You Can Dance, Cats, The Next Step and Cirque du Soliel.

Ruthy loves helping kids reach their potential and realize their individual acrobatic capabilities.

Larry Bialogrecki - Head Coach

Larry Bialogrecki has fifty years of experience coaching Recreational Gymnastics. Larry is a graduate of York University (1973) with a Bachelor of Arts specializing in Physical Education as well as an NCCP Level 3 Gymnastics coach.

He coached in a variety of gymnastics gymnasiums in Southern Ontario until he co-founded Steeles-West Gymnastics in 1988. Since 1988 He has been coaching and directing gymnastics classes and day camp programs for all ages at Steeles-West Gymnastics.
